Sheharyar Ali, MD is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease, and nuclear cardiology. He has held various academic and administrative positions including assistant professor of medicine at the University of Iowa and chief of cardiology at different health care systems in Oklahoma. Dr. Ali’s biggest strength is his interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with every patient at a personal level. His treatment of patients is guided by 3 core principles, putting his patient’s wellbeing first and foremost, always striving to do the right thing and finally being patient for the optimum outcome. He believes that the best health care is provided not by one person, but an entire team dedicated to an environment of shared decision making leading to the best possible health outcomes. Dr. Ali is now accepting new patients at Phoenix Heart Center.
